PROBLEM OF THE WORD "give".

A certain man was arrested and charged to court for slapping his pastor.
On the day of the court proceedings, when the judge had red out the charges to the hearing of the suspect, he asked him if he was guilty or not.

The below were the suspect's response.

SUSPECT: I am not in any way guilty my Lord. You see, our pastor always says that it is good to give than to receive.
That Sunday was our Thanksgiving and the pastor said that we should come forward and give what ever thing we have.

A certain man went forward and gave our pastor money which he received with joy. Another man went forward and gave him a bag of rice which he received with joy.
A woman also went forward and gave him a sack of beans which he received with joy and congregation.

Since l have nothing with me, l went forward and gave him a slap. But instead of him to receive it with joy and congregation as he had done to the others, he arrested and charged me to court.
As a Christian, to imitate the Bible, l say that; Rice, beans and money have l not, but such have l, give l thee.

The others gave and l also gave. Then, why is my giving different from the others? Give is give. QED.

He was discharged and acquitted.
