One day some men decided to scam a certain rich chief from Delta state. They put on police uniforms with EFCC badges and they went to him and the below was what transpired between them.
SCAMMERS: Chief as you can see, we are policemen attached to the EFCC. Some huge amount of money running into billions were discovered in your account. The I.G of police asked us to arrest you down to Abuja for questioning. But in alternative, you can transfer ten million naira into our account and we shall tell him that we have seen your means of livelihood and that you are not a criminal.
CHIEF: Thank you very much. It will be an opportunity for me to see the I.G and make some complaints to him about the conduct of some of his men.
SCAMMERS: He would takes you to the supreme court and the court would condemn you to death instantly.
CHIEF: No problem with that. It will be an opportunity for me to go to the supreme court and tell them about some of their judgements which l believed were not in accordance.
SCAMMERS: The supreme court will sentence you to jail in Kirikiri, the Maxi security prison.
CHIEF: It will be another opportunity for me to see and be in where the likes of Gani Fawehimi, Obafemi Awolowo, Beko Ransome Kuti and Fela Anikulapor Kuti were once held.
SCAMMERS: From jail, you will be taken to face death by firing squad.
CHIEF: Yes, it will be an apple opportunity for people to watch my execution on television and read about it in both the social and conventional media like that of Dr Oyenusi, Mighty Joe, DSP George Iyamu, Lawrence Anini and Monday Osunbor.
SCAMMERS: But chief why are you this stubborn?
CHIEF: Because, l am from Delta state, the big heart.
