One day, a rich young man employed the services of the bricklayer to erect a fence round his mansion. The job would took the bricklayer two weeks to be done. One morning, before he left for work, he told his daughter to come to the building site to meet him so he could give her some money.
Later, the daughter came as she was told. And her father went to meet his boss the building owner. He told him to give him the sum of two thousand naira so that he can give it to his daughter. He told his boss that later in the evening, he would refund it to him when he got his wages.
The boss on seeing the pretty looking daughter of the bricklayer, fell in love with her immediately. He then gave the bricklayer the sum of ten thousand naira Instead of the two thousand naira he requested. The bricklayer was very happy and he thanked his boss.
Then, two days later, he told the bricklayer that he loved his daughter and he would like to marry her as his wife. This young man was very rich. The bricklayer consented almost immediately. When he got home, he spoke to his daughter about the young man and he convinced her to marry him because he was very rich. The girl agreed and their secret love affairs began!
Back to the girl's mother. She too has a certain young oil company's driver who comes to her restaurant to eat whom she wanted her daughter to get married to. The girl usually helped her mother in the restaurant and this oil company's driver saw her there and he spoke to the mother that he loved her daughter and he would like to marry her as his future wife.
Because the young man was rich, the mother agreed and she spoke to her daughter about him and she convinced her to marry the young man. And so their secret love affairs began.
When the father discovered that his wife had convinced their daughter to love the driver without his consent, he became mad with his wife and he arrested the young driver and charged him with a case of rape.
The second day, the mother also discovered that her husband had also convinced their daughter to marry a certain rich young man. She also arrested the young man and charged him to the same court for rape.
When all the parties appeared in court, the daughter denied both his father's and mother's allegations that both men rape her. She said that she approved of their love for her and that she willingly gave her consent to their affairs.
She told the local traditional court judge that she was in love with both men and she would like to marry both of them because according to their tradition, any man brought by either your father or your mother can't be refused by their daughter.
And so, the local traditional court had no option but to consummate the marriages. The court first wedded her and the young rich man who was recommended by her father and later wedded her with the young oil company's driver whom her mother recommended to her. The court granted her to stay with the first man for a year and have a baby for him and thereafter go to the second husband and also have a baby for him and thereafter return to the first and she should continue to rotate them turn by turn!
