GBAGBOS LIVE ON, LAUGH IT OFF YOUR CONSCIENCE!

           LAUGH IT OFF YOUR CONSCIENCE!

JOURNALIST: Sir, is Nigeria a failed state?

BARRISTER: No, because as far we have a sitting president and all his cabinet members in place coupled with the arm forces, l can authoritatively say that it is not a failed state.

A failed state is a country whereby everyone does what he or she likes. Example is when there is an indiscriminate arrest and detention of agitators, journalists, authors,  protesters, indiscriminate killing and kidnapping of law abiding citizens and corruption in high places. Paddling of budget, high rate of cyber crimes, rituals killings, forging of certicates, low minimum wages, manufacturing and selling of fake drugs, mass relocation of companies and mass migration of citizens to others countries amongst others.  If all these things are happening, then it is a failed state; but to the best of my knowledge, none of them is happening in Nigeria.

The journalist quickly gave him fifty cases of all that he just mentioned taking place at the time. And he said to him, "Barrister, based on these fifty examples l just mentioned now, would you still say that Nigeria is not a failed state?"

BARRISTER: Em, l don't know if we are on air and been listened to or viewed? If on air, then l still maintained that it is not a failed state but if off air, then my answer will be different.

JOURNALIST: We are on air. But barrister, you are one of the arms of the temple of justice and you can say the truth without fear or favour.

BARRISTER: Remember that my learned colleague, Dele Farotimi is still languishing in detention.
For your information, my wife just gave birth to a set of twins and l have not enjoyed them. I want my children to see and touch me physically and not them to be shown my photographs as late Barrister.
