There was this man who was madly in love with his wife's best friend. But there was no way he could make his feelings known to her because she only comes around when his wife is in.
And so he hatched and executed a bizarre trick to enable him to have an access to her. One day on his way back from work, he slowed down his car as he rode on an untidy road and he suddenly opened the door of the car and jumped out. He sustained some degree of injury.
He stayed in the hospital for a week and he was later discharged home and the doctor advised him to rest for two weeks. His wife who was a trader, stayed with him for the period of a week. Thereafter she started going to the market because her husband's health had improved tremendously which means he can stay at home all alone.
She then called her best friend the one whom her husband was secretly in love with and told her that her husband had an accident.
Now a lot of sympathizers began to troop down to see him and wish him well.
That afternoon, his wife best friend on hearing that her friend's husband had an accident came to see him at home hoping that her friend would be at home looking after the husband.
But as the lady entered into the room, the man held her hand and said, "please, l am dying for your love. It is because of you that I deliberately jumped out of my car on the road as I was driving down. In doing so, l believed that I would definitely get your attention. I just want you to say "yes, I would befriend you", that's all".
The lady then said, "that is impossible! How could you have done that because of love? Had it been that you died, then what would have that amount to?"
And the man said, "you see that a person deliberately jumped out of a moving car for the sake of your love and you are still asking him much questions. Instead of you to quickly take off your clothes and lie on the bed to heal the injury inflicted by your love, you are here preaching sermons".
In a similar development, there was this secondary school student who was deeply in love with a guy. The parents got wind of the relationship and took her to school and stay in the boarding house. Daily she thought about the guy but there was no way for him to get in touch with him.
Then one day, she took a broken bottle and stabbed her foot with it. She was taken to the hospital treated and later discharged. But the school's authority sent her home to her parents. They looked after her for a week and they discovered that she was getting better each passing day. Then they began to leave her all alone at home. During these days of staying at home all alone, she quickly contacted the guy.
The guy was surprised to see her with such an injury.
She told the guy that she deliberately stabbed herself so that she could be sent home. She told him that the only way in which she could be sent home for them to see themselves is to get herself injured so that she would be ask to go home and treat herself.
