AUNTY BREEZE

There was this very slim female teacher popularly called "Aunty Breeze" by the students in her school because of her slim and fragile looking stature.

One day, she went to the principal's office when the state commissioner of education came to her class.

COMMISSIONER: Who is your teacher and where is she or him?

STUDENTS: Her name is Miss Breeze and she went to the principal's office.

Soon, she came in and the following ensued between her and the commissioner:

COMMISSIONER: You are welcome, Miss Breeze. I was told you went to the principal's office.

TEACHER: Yes, madam, but with all due respect to you. My name is not Breeze and may l know whom you are?

COMMISSIONER: I am the new commissioner of education of the state.

TEACHER: You are highly welcome, madam.
Well, l am Miss Fragile and not Breeze.

STUDENTS: Your native name is Breeze while your English name is Fragile which incidentally means, Breeze,  because, your movement is controlled by the Breeze.

COMMISSIONER: That is quite rude of you students.

STUDENTS: Madam, there was a day she wanted to flog a student and she held the girl with one hand and the cane with the other hand. As she pulled the girl closer to herself, the girl tried to pull away from her and the force of the little girl of eight years sent her crashing to the hard floor.

COMMISSIONER: That is another rude behaviour you students just displayed in my presence.
Don't ever try that again. Well, teacher, shift your chair down here so that l may check your syllabus.

As she tried to lift  the chair down very fast, she crashes to the floor under the weight of the chair.

And the commissioner said, "l think that not until you recognised this name Breeze as your biological name, things will not go smoothly with you, Miss Breeze".

TEACHER: Thank you ma.
