Dear Oturugbeke, please I am seriously in a dilemma.
I am a sixteen year old senior secondary school final year student. I am from a polygamous home. My father has three wives including my mother. Daily, my father and all his wives go to their various businesses. As the eldest daughter of my father, all my younger ones are left for me to take care of

Most of my younger ones eat too much. Infact, they eat like an elephant! In the morning, before we would go to school, l usually make a full basket of garri so that eleven of us could eat to our fill before going to school.
But whenever I dish the food, before I could say Jack Robinson, the full is gone!

I can't even eat one lump of eba  before the food would finished! In most cases, l go to school empty stomach!
I then decided on a plan to stop this nonsense because a desperate problem needs a desperate solution.

I began to heat the food very hot and make the eba very hot. Then I would put it down of us to eat. In this type of situation, it is the survival of the fittest! Anyone who can't eat hot soup and eba , would go hungry. As for me, l can eat a boiling food and so with this method, l normally eat to my fill. But most of the lazy children go to school empty stomach!

They should also feel what l usually pass through when they eat to their fill and I go hungry. But last week, l had a dream and the fate of life appeared to me and said that for oppressing my younger ones, in my future, especially in my old age, my children would abandon me to suffer to death as punishment for oppressing my little younger ones.

Please help me to beg the fate of life to have mercy on me because I am still a young girl and as such my action was an act of juvenile delinquent.

It has pleaded to the Fate of life on your behalf. The Fate of life said that since you have humbled yourself and pleaded for pardon, you have been forgiven but you have to call all your younger ones and beg them to forgive you and tell them that you are very sorry for starving them. Promise them that henceforth all of you would eat to satisfaction. You should tell your father and mother that the food is not enough for all of you.
