BATTLE READY FOR THE UNKNOWN.

A primary six pupil was about to write her primary school leaving certificate examination and her mother declared a seven day fasting and prayers.

She also told the little girl to be practicing, judoka, boxing, karat, upper and lower cut, sit-ups and press ups.

The surprised little girl asked her mother the reason for all these abnormal practices when it wasn't a civil war that she was going but just an examination.

And the mother said, "my daughter, what you are about to face now is more than a civil war. Infact, it is a world war. Have you forgotten that you are attending our local primary school here in the village where sometimes, you pupils sit on the bare floor to read and write, sometimes, you pupils read and write while standing, sometimes on an empty stomach?

But now, you are going to the examination hall to face pupils from international modern schools, from schools with well equipped modern science laboratories, from schools with PhD holders teachers. You are going to face pupils who take fried eggs and butter and cheese baked bread for breakfast, pupils who studied with computers under air-conditioning, pupils who are driven to school in tinted glass jeeps and Lamborghini, pupils who sleep on water like foams imported from the best countries etc.

My daughter, it is like an antelope versus the rhinoceros. My final words to you my daughter is that the inequalities of this world is immeasurable".
