THE FEAR OF THE UNIFORM!

Once upon a time, a television station gave out some important emergency phone numbers and they warned that the numbers should neither be called in vain or played with.

The numbers were those of the state fire service, the electricity distribution company, that of the local vigilante, that of the state waste disposal and that of the police force.

No sooner had the numbers were given out, guys started to call the numbers to mock at them:

They called the fire station and said: Are you people still alive with your dead vehicles without water, good tyres and hungry looking men with vulture like looking necks?

To the electricity distribution company, they said: May God punish you witch NEPA. Una go die throw way.
Na devil go punish una.

To the vigilante, they said: Una don join thief. Na cutlass naim the devil go take behead una. If we see una for the street, una done die be dat. Una go dey sleep for corner of the streets come dey collect money for nothing. Na devil go baptized una papa.

To the waste disposal company, they said:  Una wey be shit people. Na shit we go take baff una mama and papa. Animals.

To the police, they said amongst themselves: O boy, if you cuss Nigeria police for phone, dem go fine you reach house O. Nor try wetin go kill person O.
If dem like make dem do their work, if dem like make dem sit down. Ekelebe nor dey change.
