The robbers became rattled and they fled in different directions.
A member of the gang fled into a near by compound and hid in a toilet. Just a minute later, one of the law enforcement agent also fled into the same toilet and hid himself. The inside of the toilet was dark and so he could not see the hidden robber but the robber could see him.
After about five minutes, they saw themselves. And they reached a peace truce not to harm each other. The robber said to the law enforcement agent, "You can't harm me and l can't harm you because both of us came here to take refuge". The law enforcement agent also said, " You came here to take refuge because you were afraid of me and l also fled here to take refuge because l was afraid of you".
As they were still talking, the landlord of the compound who heard them talking came down. He was surprised to see these two strange fellows. They introduced themselves to the him. And he said, "well, both of you should leave in peace because the same God whom the robbers pray to before going on a robbing operation is the same God whom the law enforcement agent also pray to before embarking on the journey to arrest them".
