There were lots of people in his hospital who had turned the hospital to their home because they could not pay for his exorbitant charges. They have to remain there till their family members could get the money to pay for them to be released and go home.
He was fond of telling his debtors to tell their family members to sell any landed property they have to raise his money.
There was this particular man whom he did cesarean operation on his wife. The man was only able to pay a part of the money. The womant was amongst dozens of debtors under detention in this doctor's private hospital.
The doctor often told the husband to sell any of their family's land or car to raise his money. "Is there no valuable property in your family to sell and raise my money?" He asked the man often.. But the man always told him to be patient as God would surely provide a solution.
One day, the husband of this woman saw something covered at the back of the hospital. In the midnight hours, he went to check what it was. He discovered that it was a new bulletproof Prado jeep which the doctor only used on a special occasion.
He wasted no time. He sold it and paid the doctor his balance. The doctor was so happy. "How were you able to raised the money?" He asked the man. "Well, sir, l told you that God will surely provide. I sold a family member's car", he said.
"That is it! I have always tell you to do that and now you have listened to me. Thank you for taking such a wise decision. You can go home with your wife and baby now",he said.
The man fled the country immediately with his wife and baby still having a huge amount of money left from the sales of the car. The doctor only discovered about three weeks later but it was already too late!
