The husband was sixty years old and his wife fifty years old. Having married for about thirty years without a child, the couple became really worried. Their pastor observed that the couple were very worried and so he decided to offer them words of advice and also to strengthen their fate in God.
He said, "brethren, don't be faithless. Believe in God like Sarah and her husband, Abraham did. Do you know that Abraham was eighty six years old when he gave birth to Ishmael and Sarah was seventy years old when she gave birth to Isaac. Both of you are nowhere closer to that age, so there is still much hope".
And the husband said, "pastor, l am presently sixty years old. Do you know that my own father died at the age of sixty five years and my mother sixty years?
From the above analysis shows clearly that I can never get anywhere closer to Abraham. This is Nigeria and not the land of the Hebrew".
